DeepL Translator translates text and documents. DeepL Write instead improves writing within a supported language, suggesting grammar, spelling and phrasing changes. Choose the function that matches whether you need a new language or a better version of the same text.

Start with one customer message

Our suggested trial is a short customer email containing a product name, date and delivery instruction. Translate it into the language you actually use with customers. If that language is supported in Write, try a clearer revision separately.

Compare meaning and terminology

Check the product name, quantities, dates and required action against the original. Mark company terms you want to keep consistent. Ask a fluent reader to check an important message before sending it; a natural sentence can still change a condition.

Check the relevant language list

Translator and Write have different supported-language lists and subscription options. Verify both rather than treating one DeepL subscription as access to every feature. For documents, inspect the translated layout as well as the wording.
