Roboflow explains how to shortlist vision datasets in ChatGPT

An October 19 tutorial uses the Roboflow plugin to compare labeled datasets and reach sample images for inspection.

Roboflow’s tutorial describes searching for labeled images to train computer vision models: systems that identify objects in pictures. After installing the plugin and connecting a Roboflow account, users describe their target objects. The steel-defect example compares actual class names, then checks whether sample images match the intended conditions and whether annotations miss defects.

The image-viewing documentation explains the inspection step outside chat. Open the selected Universe dataset and choose Images in its sidebar. Selecting an image opens its annotations in a read-only viewer. This interface permits closer inspection of the image and labels, but does not allow changes to them.

For a workspace copy, the forking instructions require a signed-in Roboflow account. In the browser, choose Use this Dataset and then Fork Project. Once copying completes, the destination page offers dataset-version generation. The copied project can subsequently be changed or used to train a model.

For notebook work, the download guide offers an export route. The Dataset page displays version images, data splits, preprocessing and augmentation. Open the download control, choose the full-dataset download and continue; select an export format and either a ZIP download or download code for a notebook or terminal.
