Replicate
Try AI models in a browser, then connect them to an application through an API.

Replicate lets you run models through a web playground or an API. Start with the browser form to understand the inputs. Python and JavaScript clients offer another route when you want to connect a model to your application.
A first task
Use the hello-world example in the prediction guide with a sample name. Inspect the input, output and status. Record the model version alongside your test notes; a prediction contains these details, so you can document what actually ran.
When you have your own model
The custom model guide explains packaging with Cog. You supply the model environment and prediction logic; Replicate manages the server and compute. A dedicated deployment adds hardware and scaling controls.
Before choosing
If you need those deployment controls, compare the displayed cost estimate with your expected workload. Use the monitoring dashboard to check latency, failed requests and spending during a limited pilot.
