Choose how to start

For people already using Midjourney, its companion guide explains how to animate your chosen gallery image. Manual animation lets you change the prompt before generation; Auto starts immediately. The image supplies the opening frame, and a text prompt is optional.

Compare the motion

Low motion tends toward subtler movement, while high motion can produce unrealistic movement. As a suggested exercise, compare both settings on one selected image. Hover over the completed results to play them and judge which movement suits your intended scene.

Try it: a CurioFuse exercise

An original editorial exercise with a checkable outcome.

CurioFuse motion brief: one change to judge

Choose an image you own and write a small brief before generating: “The cup stays still; only the steam moves upward.” Make a review sheet with three checks: cup shape remains consistent, the background remains stable, and the intended steam movement is visible.

If you compare available motion settings, keep the image and brief the same. Record which checks each result passes, instead of choosing solely by excitement. Reject a lively result that changes the product. This is our suggested comparison, not a reported generation result.
