Meta Muse
Meta’s personal AI agent handles multi-step tasks with user permissions.
Visit official websiteWhat it does
Meta describes Muse as a personal agent that uses its own virtual computer and browser to handle multi-step work. It can continue working after the app closes. These are the provider’s descriptions, not results of an independent test.
A documented first task
The product FAQ gives a concrete example: monitoring daily weather reports and alerting you about rain. This illustrates background assistance for someone who wants recurring information without keeping the app open.
Muse is designed to request permission before certain actions. Options include allowing once, always allowing or denying; connection defaults can be managed. Free usage has a limit: when reached, users can upgrade or wait for it to refresh.
Access and availability
Meta’s September announcement described an initial US rollout on iOS, Android and the web. That historical rollout is not a current device-eligibility list. Users choose connected-service access and can disconnect a service at any time.
