Jev decisions in practice
Reindent explores Jev.
Separate the questions
Reindent’s September 2026 lesson introduces Jev through food classification and a toy application. Its companion separates the input being judged from the criteria used to judge it. Changing either can change the answer. This is an introductory exploration for readers curious about structured decisions.
Know the limits
ChatGPT helps build an interface; Jev judges excuses for missing work. Believability and emergency are separate questions. These outputs do not verify anyone’s story or predict an employer’s reaction. The session establishes no controlled speed or accuracy comparison.

CurioFuse exercise: change one criterion
Use fictional workshop enquiries rather than judging real employees. Define two separate questions: “Does the sender ask about a workshop?” and “Does the sender request a reply?” Try these notes: “Send the workshop outline”; “Interesting workshop, no reply needed”; “Please reply about your newsletter.” Write your own yes/no labels for each question.
The expected pairs are yes/yes, yes/no and no/yes. Change one question and label the same notes again. Check that you have not quietly merged relevance and reply preference into one judgment.
