Reading with sources

Humata offers summaries, document comparisons and answers with source links for readers working through technical papers.

Suggested exercise: ask a fictional maintenance manual about cleaning, follow the citations and compare them with the answer. Request a shorter summary if useful. This is a proposed exercise, not a tested result.

The free plan lists up to 60 pages and 10 answers; choose your trial material within those limits.

Try it: a CurioFuse exercise

An original editorial exercise with a checkable outcome.

Compare a summary with a known source

CurioFuse exercise with fictional input: prepare a short document saying, “Archive completed projects every month. Keep active projects in the working folder. No retention period is specified.”

Ask: “Summarize the archive rule in two sentences, then identify any unanswered timing question and cite the source passage.”

A satisfactory answer keeps monthly archiving separate from the unspecified retention period. Reject an invented deletion deadline or a claim that active projects are archived too. Follow the citation yourself.

This exercise is useful before asking about a longer technical document; it is an editorial check you can repeat, not a recorded Humata result.
