Alejandro AO’s January 2026 community tutorial, hosted on Hugging Face, introduces the OpenAI Agents SDK with open models. Alejandro AO’s creator companion explicitly identifies its video version and covers custom tools, typed output and handoffs. Start with Python familiarity, package installation and provider credentials. Its weather function returns an illustrative answer, not a live forecast.
Check provider access separately
The separate Inference Providers guide explains account access, tokens and selecting available providers. Its worked example generates an image, so use it for access setup rather than as the agent exercise. Before adapting the lesson, confirm that your chosen model is available through a provider and that your account has remaining credits. A useful first exercise is to inspect a generated code snippet and identify where the token and provider selection enter the request.
