Ellf documents reusable project templates
Templates carry workflows into another project.

Reuse a workflow
Ellf’s template documentation describes repositories or directories that package project setup, plans, resources and custom code. The coding agent reads the README first and asks questions when adaptation needs decisions or resources. For teams repeating a workflow with different data, this provides a documented starting point. The provider says to review trusted templates before allowing code execution and changes to an Ellf account.
Preparation is a separate state
The modules guide illustrates an import with support tickets: the agent checks the input and proposes resources, while explicitly leaving execution unstarted. In that example, the ticket task can only be created after the preparation action has run, because it needs cleaned tickets. An optional Gemini agent is omitted without its required API secret. The example describes a dependency, not a completed training result.
Connect the working environment
The setup guide requires Python 3.10 or newer for the command-line client and recommends a virtual environment. Logging in with the agent option downloads skills and adds the knowledge-base MCP server to the chosen assistant’s configuration. A coding assistant is recommended for developers, but it is not mandatory: the platform and command line also support configuring workflows without one.
