Research, rather than general web search

Elicit searches scientific sources and helps narrow broad research questions. Its systematic review workflow supports paper gathering, screening criteria and data extraction, with supporting passages for checking extracted answers.

A useful first task

CurioFuse suggestion: explore a bounded question such as whether spaced practice improves adult vocabulary retention. Define the population, intervention and outcome first. Find a small set of relevant papers and build columns for study design, participants, measured outcome and limitations. Open two papers and compare the extracted cells with their methods and results sections. Keep exclusions and reasons in your own notes so you can explain how the selection happened.

Before choosing

Choose this workflow when the job involves comparing studies, rather than collecting news or product recommendations. Check what full text is actually available for your papers. Treat an extracted passage as something to review in context: an AI summary does not establish that a study is sound or that your search is complete.
