One campaign, several sizes: compare design-resizing workflows
Start from one design and plan its versions for different channels.
For readers of our Canva AI profile, a suggested next exercise is an imaginary workshop announcement: keep its headline, date and invitation while adapting its format. Canva describes this multichannel task in its product overview. This comparison uses documentation, not a timed test or a quality ranking.
Canva: choose sizes and pages
The Canva instructions require an eligible plan, such as Pro; each Magic Resize use counts against monthly AI usage. Open Resize, choose presets or custom dimensions, and select the pages. Copy & resize preserves the original; Resize this design changes it. You can select several sizes together; those copies go into a new folder. For the workshop exercise, choose the copy option if you need the original announcement too.
Adobe Express: preserve a version and control expansion
Adobe’s web instructions place Resize on Premium plans. Open a design, select Resize, then enter dimensions or choose a preset. Duplicate & Resize keeps the original. Choose a variation, then Keep or Discard. Uncheck Expand image if you do not want generative AI to resize the image. Multiple pages cannot be batch-resized. For the exercise, note this image-generation choice alongside whether the original survives.
