Prepare a listening task

Acrobat’s podcast overview describes conversational summaries for reports and other documents. Sign in with an eligible Acrobat Studio, AI Assistant or other plan including Acrobat AI features. Availability depends on supported languages and regions. The document must contain at least 500 characters and no more than 600 pages.

For this suggested exercise, choose an English PDF: Adobe’s requirements list English support, but not Hungarian. Use a file under 100 MB, without password protection or usage restrictions, and not a PDF Portfolio. You need internet access, a supported Adobe ID and enabled generative AI.

Generate and listen

Open the PDF in Acrobat on the web. Following Adobe’s web steps, select Listen to this document, then Highlights for a focused summary. After generation, use the control bar to play or pause. Select View transcript to read the full script alongside the audio.

Check the result against your PDF

Our illustrative task: summarize a fictional project brief containing a deadline, an owner and one unresolved question. This is a proposed exercise, not a product test. Adobe’s disclosures warn that generated output can mislead. Suggested check: compare those three details with the original; reject an invented date or an unresolved question presented as settled. Keep the source as your reference when the narration sounds convincing.
